I made ZocDoc aware, they said patients are busy and don't always have their insurance on hand. The patients become upset because no visit and the doctor loses an appointment slot.

The site works by doctors paying a monthly fee in order to be listed.Īs a provider I have received many appointments and can say ZocDoc gave me a marketing advantage that I would not have been able to get on my own.
It allows patients to see the doctor, office, and read reviews. It offers busy patients the opportunity to schedule a doctor visit when the doctors' office is closed.
