No button is clickable and I have to kill the program. If I click on "start" or "resume" the screen fades black as if it worked, then the launcher screen comes back frozen. I've finished ME1 and halfway through ME2 in the Legendary Edition. It's as if launching the game is slowly getting more and more broken. Edit 2: problem temporarily solved! I found mass effect 2.exe in the steamapps download folder and the game launched fine from there.
